charged fees when my account was not overdrawn

IBC Bank complaint by Tls
ICB Bank has charged my account with $162.00 in overdraft fees, when the account is not overdrawn.

They charged the first of 6 $27.00 fees while the account had a 69.62 balance. They say the reason for the charges were a pending transaction., however the charge has now dropped the money never came out of the account and was never overdrawn.

On another occasion when I had made a mistake in my account and had charges pending I had been told by the bank that pending transactions would not cause an overdraft fee until they settled to the account. The section on pending transactions on their on line banking page supports this how ever on this occassion they chose to charge $162.00 in fees for a pending transation that would have caused the account to be $1.27 short, and has since dropped.

It doesnt seem right that banks can get by with charging overdraft fees for money that never leaves the account.

I agree let's sue!!!!
